Week Two

Buildings, sites and ruins in Breaffy

Listen to the Voki to learn about the tasks this week!

Task 3 - Conducting Interviews

In groups, you will create a list of interview questions using microsoft word.

These will be used to interview local senior citizens about the different buildings in our village.

Each group will choose one building to discover more about.

We intend to discover more about:

  • where the building originated
  • how the building has changed
  • stories of people who lived, worked there
  • purpose of construction

Keep these points in mind when creating your interview questions!

In groups, you will conduct this interview in the classroom.

One group member will act as director, recording the interview using a digital video recorder.

Take a look at this video. It gives good tips and tricks to help groups conduct good interviews!
